Default Silicon Hose Issue....

Guys,

Was checking pipework to my DV and found a bit of a botch job on one of the pipes, got a small pipe sitting inside a large pipe with only a jubilee clip holding them together...

As such i need a hose that connects my FMIC pipework to my HKS SSQV... the FMIC hole is 40mm and my DV is 20mm... any suggestoins, really can't seem to find any reducing elbow of this size or close... can either go from 48 - 30 or 38 - 25... i'm thinking going smaller than the 40, even 2 mm ain't gonna work, but on the other hand will a decent hose clamp pull a pipe in by 10mm??

Any advice appreciated!!

Cheers
Chris

I think you'll find most people have got a short length of hose used to reduce the hose down.. I've got a piece of hose inserted inside the hose from my TMIC to reduce it down enough to fit onto the DV, no harm atall

Surely with the pressure that goes through these pipes there would be some leakage?

Try Burton power, see link. Thats where I got lots of reducers from but you might need two e.g. 40-30 then a 30-20 but they have loads of sizes in stock and are very helpfull.
