Default leaking radaitor

My 2001 wrx import has started to lose water from the rad,is this easy to remove or is it conected to the aircon system,is it worth trying 1 of the rad seal additives before i remove or do these cause more problems than they cure, also there is 2 cooling fans but once car has been ticking over for a while only 1 of these fans kick in is this normal

It's simple to remove mate.
It's not connected to the A/C at all, it's a single unit.
I'd suggest getting an alluminium upgrade.

Has your's gone along the plastic side, top, left where the pipe leads into the rad? This is a very common problem with the scoob rad.

Personally I would'nt use radweld.
An alloy rad will cost anywhere from 250-450 squid.
I brought a Haste one from the states, but I would suggest a different brand if you want an easy install.
Although it was worth it, the Haste was a barsteward to fit.
