Default removing resonator on my classic

thinking of doing this tomorrow after andy f recommended it, ive got the blanking plug from subaru so not hot air gets in to the airbox from the engine bay andy says it will get plenty of air from vent below front indicator and will improve airflow and noise. anyone else done this on a classic?

what is it your doing exactly? ive got a 93 import and ive had a pipe made for me that removes the resonator box but i still have the 2 pipes for boost solinoid and crank case going into the resonator pipe replacement.
are you fitting a crank case filter instead of running back into the inlet?

I think you are getting the inlet pipe mixed up with the resonator. The resonator is bofore the air box and the inlet pipe connects the air box to the turbo.

I have removed the resonator but have modded the air ducts that flows air over the brakes to get some cold air up to the air box also.

ive done it on mine makes a bit more of a sucking noise and dumps a bit when you let off but not as loud/annoying as a dump valve, it only takes 10 mins to do so not a bad idea, get an aftermarket panel filter too
