how many water temp sensor does a sti8 have/ I changed one due to rough running when my car was cold, but its still the same. Someone mentioned to me there is 2 and may be i had changed the wrong one.

 

there are 2,but one is a sensor for the temp gauge the other for the ECU,it is on a classic anyway.

i just changed mine,the ECU one, due to poor cold starting,it starts,but only on 2 cylinders it sound slike for about 5 seconds, oil pressure indicates this as it only gets to 4 bar then when it all starts to purr oil pressure goes to 6 bar.

i should say the one to change is the one with a 19mm nut on it (classic anyway)

changed mine,not as bad,but did it this morning,huf !
