Damn P0340 Fault Code

First time posting on this site
Can anyone help Ive had the Engine maintenance light come on tonight and my PSI3 ECU Monitor is telling me ive got a fault code of P0340.
Has anyone else had this problem annd knows an easy fix??
Dont want to pay through the nose taking it into my local Scooby workshop if its something simple.
Code means Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction " ... but that means nothing to me
