Default Too small a lambda

Just got my tsl group a decat only to find my jdm classic uses a small sensor wtf?!

I take it i'll have to source the proper sized sensor or an adaptor of sorts?

cheers

also what sort of sensor would i need, how many wires etc, i believe it has a clear plug if that helps?

thanks

No it doesn't they are all the same size, what model year car, on the pre MY96 JDM's the lambda was in the headers and the down pipe had a temperature swich in it at the bottom for example. So sounds like thats what you are looking at, take a peek under the off side front at the headers, bet you lambda is there.

cheers

Is the temp switch an important thing to keep? if so where do i bung the thing?

I will have a look at the headers first thing tomorrow, sounds like i'll need a second lambda bung then lol.

I have the same downpipe on a classic, it is the cat temp sensor that you are referring to, I bleieve an old ford pinto engine spark plug fits thread, when I got mine I also got the bung at the same time for a few quid from tsl

Yeah that's right it's about m18x1.5 i believe, i spoke to tsl and they said it's just the exhaust temp sensor, it's just there to serve as a safety measure and is unrelated to the ecu, so i can quite happily tuck it away and maybe find a way to refit it later on should i wish.

Thanks for the help, scoobs a new car to me so im having to get used to all the little quirks, very different to a pug in terms of layout.
