Default bursting hoses

hi guys ive only had my impreza a month but in that time ive had too replace three hoses.

one of the little elbow ones that goes to the metal pipe at the front - along the bottom .

then the bottom rad hose went, i managed to find a 2nd hand one , just to get me by . till i can afford my samco's. now that one just burst on me and its only been on a few days , the hose was in good condition before i fitted it .

now is that just a bit of bad luck , or could i have a problem else where, the car drives fine and as it should and it doesnt seem to get hot either,

its completly standard bar an air filter .

The pipes are getting to be over 10 years old now, I would assume it's just the age of them. If it happens to a new one, there will be an underlying cause. Fitting second hand pipes is always a gamble

maybe check the radiator for blockages which could cause a build up of pressure on the bottom pipe if the coolant is flowing at a decent rate, you would be amazed at the muck a radiator accumulates over time. I have a relatively new radiator and flushed that out at the weekend and was surprised at the state of it.

excessive pressure is causing all your problems.
did you check the radiator cap?
if it is somehow stuck the pressure will build up due to the expansion of the water during warm up.
cap should relieve this pressure.
