Default Best place for brake pad shims.

Need to replace my discs and pads (4pot) on my sti 3.
Noticed that the pads currently don't have the shims behind them. I'm getting a clunk under acceleration and braking, so to eliminate the possible cause I want to fit some.
Are they a dealer only part? I hear that you can only get them with new pads from subaru?

Any pointers appreciated.

You can buy them seperate from Subaru. Theres two shims per pad, one black vented shim and a second flat stainless shim.
Can't remember how much they were as I bought them ages ago but they have fixed the clonking I had (fitted them on Sunday).

I was getting it when reversing mainly or crawling in traffic with light pedal pressure. Seems to have stopped all that.
