Default Horn stuck on

2005 Outback. While driving, the horn came on by itself and would not go off. Tried playing with steering wheel and hit buttons on key fob. Nothing would turn it off until I pulled connectors off of horn itself. Anyone else have this problem. Not sure if there is anything I can check myself.

Well, dealer has had it for 2 days and are still not sure what the cause of the problem is. They removed the clockspring, which should have turned horn off for sure, and horn remained in. So this has them baffled. They said the have checked all wiring for shorts to ground and found no problems. The horn right now is not remaining on but they are not sure that they have really corrected the problem.

Horn switch puts an earth onto the horn relay.
Might be worth getting them to replace the horn relay just in case its faulty.
