I have been advised by a m8 doing an MOT on my 94 Impreza turbo that both of the rear brake pipes from the joining piece to the rear hoses? are corroded and need to be replaced. He said it looks like a big job that may require the fuel tank to be removed and reckons it will need to be carried out by the dealer,or a
specialist .

Has anybody needed to change the rear brake pipes and know how labour intensive it is, or what the likely cost would be at a dealer?. I know a couple of Subaru specialists in the area (Edinburgh) and may give them a try,but would prefer to use a dealer if the labour involved is not to high.
