Default What turbo for a 2.5?

Hi,

I am going for a 2.5 conversion and am not sure what turbo to use. I am either thinking TD05 20g or a VF35? I like country lane driving and am not really a fan of Lag, I prefer progressive boost! I'm going for about 360-370bhp! Any help with this would be great!

Many thanks, Steve

A 20G would be good, or an MD321 would be better, you would also be capable of 450BHP+ with supporting mods.

Don't really wanna go any higher than 375bhp because I'll need to uprate the transmission and I really don't have the money for that!

The 20g is reallt laggy though isn't it? I'm not much of a motorway driver (like the license to much ) but I love a good B road thrash!

The 20G won't be laggy on a 2.5lt, and should work very nicely for circa 375BHP. I wouldn't recommend a VF35 for your requirements.

They get bigger, spool later and produce more power.
