hi guys got a problem with my scoob 1996 sti, got uprated ecu which should run 1.1bar problem is when i boot it at 1.0 bar i get fuel cut (missfire like) and a bit of smoke kicks out the back, its annoying cuz an astra vrx nearly got the better of me today cuz i could not hold on the power due to the fuel cut, any ideas what this could be thats causing this, had service not long ago and plugs were changed. please help?????

 

hello i had this problem and after re gapping the plugs to 0.6 it went away so you could try that!!

 

If you are who I think you are, you are running a Prova ECU and returned one of my ECU for a refund, then it's probably your coil packs as suggested before you demanded a refund.

Or it could be that resistor mod you have attached to your MAF connector
