Steering column lift
I have tried a search but found nothing........
My STI was in for its first UK MOT today, passed, but the guy gave me an advisory note due to the lift in the steering column...... If you take hold of the steering wheel you can move it and down slightly, checked under the bonnet and I can see the whole shaft moving up and down at the UJ area. Are there bushes on the column as it passes through the bulkhead? Has anybody else experienced this?
