Hi,

Anyone know what the correct pressures should be for Eagle F1's on a bugeye wagon? Everybody seems to have a different opinion......

35 F/ 33R - the Subaru handbook confirms pressure should be higher at the front (this compensates for understeer).

Cheers guys

The info on the pillar does give pressures, but wondered as the car never seems that great on corners, sort of a bit saggy; a didn't want to over inflate the tires.

I'll try 35/33.

Thanks

Try a Whiteline ARB and steel droplinks to improve the handling mate. (I did and it's the biz !)

all depends on how you want your car to behave. i put 35 in the front and 30 in the rear if you want the back end to dig in or 35+ if you like the back end a bit looser.

I've come to realise it's a personal thing.

I was recommended 34f 32r and have stuck with it - works well for me at the moment. Will see how the tyres wear and take it from there.

35/35 nice feel and no weird tyre wear or feather on the edges,
Was running 33/33 ish until I fitted the KYB Shocks and now I feel 35/35 is a better,
Like said it all depends on how u like the car to feel in and thru a corner.

34-32 on my uk classic. after fitting whiteline droplinks all round and a new suspension set up, understeer is gradually being edged out in favour o skipping on the road.

may try 35-33 today, if im to be ****.

Seems that not a lot of people go with the factory recommended 33-32 ish then ?

I have now put to 35-33 as mentioned last night, and seems to hold better. As I said the thing that was bothering me was the feeling of drifting in corners, just felt like it was a real struggle (particularly on medium sized roundabouts where im going straight over where really I should be able to exit quite quickly).

Think i'll look into the suspension set-up Andy, cheers for the heads ups there. Any recommendations on somewere decent to supply/do the work near me (Bedford/MK/Northampton) ?

Thanks for all the comments

Try Demon Tweeks - they'll deliver to your work or home, within a few days.

Oh, and you're welcome BTW.
