MAF sensor problems???
Apologies if this is FAQ,but i cant search on S/N anymore ...Ive got a bugeye wagon, running a FMIC,hybrid TD04,pinks,walpro etc.As of two days ago,i've also fitted a HKS super power flow induction kit.The car was then re-mapped by powerstation-no problems. However, the day after, whilst accellerating from a slip road onto a dual carriageway(50-60mph),the car backfired and lost all power.Wouldnt start for more than a couple of seconds before cutting out.On removing the MAF,the car started and stayed idling and i was able drive home on limp mode(drove very roughly).Engine management light stays on.ANY IDEAS WITH WHATS WRONG AND HOW I CAN SORT IT OUT???.Thanks for your help

£5 one off payment for 10 years of extra features. The google search does indeed suck mildly. If it was an older girl I could help you out with the diagnostics.

Cheers re the search issue.Anyone any thoughts re MAF though???Have had advice that the MAF may have blown and that this was down to the HKS induction kit.Have been advised to fit a K+N typhoon(I cant fit OE bace due to lack of space).Anyone got one fitted?
