1994 wrx cat light
i was taking a loose heat shield off from underneath my 1994 wrx turbo and it wasnt budging. i smacked it off with a hammer but in doing so, i accidently smacked the lambda sensor (the one that sits in the exhaust manifold) and subsequently damaged it. as i got back into my car and started it, the cat light switched on, on my dash.
i have changed the lambda sensor for a new one, but the light is still on.
have i done anything wrong in diagnosing my problem?
somebody told me that the ecu stores this error code and needs resetting, but i dont know.
please can somebody help me in turning that cat light off....
