Default Fitted boost gauge and...

I fitted a cheapo AutoGauge boost gauge at the weekend which seems to do the job OK. However since adding it I've noticed the car seems a bit jumpy when applying a small amount of throttle. I connected the sender to the MAP sensor hose which is where the old boost gauge t-piece already was.
Am I imagining things? Is there a leak?

Sounds like you may have a small air leak somewhere. What does the gauge read when on overrun?

Around -0.6, from memory.

A leak is a possibility, the hose provided with the gauge was an extremely tight fit on the sender. It may have split slightly down the side...

Think I'll take it off and see what happens!

Overrun on mine is -1.0 at least, so sounds like a small leak. Or maybe a different hose??
