Default down pipe question?

does anyone know if a down pipe such as the scoobyworld ninja with the high flow sports cat needs to be wrapped with exhaust bandage,or can it just be fitted? thinking of getting one fitted. any ideas guys?

My downpipe wasn't wrapped when I bought the car. Its an aftermarket one like the one you mention. I decided to wrap it while it was removed last year as it helps keep underbonnet temps down but isn't essential.

Hope this helps.

I have asked this same question and was told that the sports cat is designed to work at a certain temperature, wrapping will exceed this temp and reduce the life.
