Angry wrx idle fault

im having trouble with revs going up and down when idli ing ive changed the maf still the same ,took idle valve of i think but theres nothing to clean just a piece if metal sticking out does any one have a pic of a idle valve thanks its a 94 wrx wagon

What mods have you got? I know dump valves can cause problems with idle

standard but have forge dump valve but this has been on for 4 to 5 month

try the car with a standard dump valve. if its still idling crap and you say maf has been changed (is it new does it actualy work?) then id recomend a brand new idle unit.

i went through this about a year ago. idle valve did it for me. £250 from subaru.

ta axgt it was the dump valve a spring had snapted in it got new one from revolution runs ok now
