I am looking for an exploded diagram of a rear shelf assembly for an MY05 Spec C.

I dropped the car in this morning to a audio shop and this is what they have come back and asked for .

Its a solid rear bulkhead so id assume (as there was no real need for me to add any "music" to my old Spec C ) that you have to go though the boot to remove it.

the technician has told me that the designated speaker hole doesn't align correctly with the shelf and if he cuts the shelf in the desired position then he will have to cut structural steel in order to allow the speakers to sit down... which is not an option.

anyone else have similar problems fitting rear speakers to a Spec C?

 

I have Alpine speakers fitted in the shelf of my Spec C. No steel was cut there.

 

What size speakers do you have?

Do they sit in the middle of the shelf or are they closer to the seats/rear window?

 

Apologies, just took a closer look and indeed there has been a bit of metal cut out from my car. On the drivers side only though.
