Default Oil Pressure

Evening people, need you advice/confirmation

I have just this afternoon fitted a sandwich plate and an oil pressure gauge, my understanding is that normal pressure is 4-5 bar at the oem oil pressure point, my gauge is reading a steady 7 at the filter where the sender is installed. This reading was at idle by the way.

Can you tell me the normal oil pressure reading at the filter? am I getting a correct reading?

cold idle 6-7bar

Hot idle 2-3bar

hot cruise 6-7bar

should be the same through out the system afaik but these figures where what I got from the normal pressure switch location by the alternator.

Used the scoob for work this morning and the gauge ranged from 7 bar at cold start up to 3 bar at warm idle in traffic to 6-7 bar with a little bit of pedal coming off a roundabout so I guess I am getting the right readings.

Cheers for the help guys, I guess I just needed my mind putting at rest.
