Default Quick shift gear box?

Which is the best 6 speed quick shift - GFB or prodrive and why?

Thinking of getting one or t'other.

I'm looking at another option now of B&M gear levers, following some good advice... this is cheaper than the previous two options... so what's the difference? Anyone?

I've got a GFB one on my 6 speed. This is adjustable for throw, don't know if the others are. Standard throw is about 80mm and when SC fitted mine they set it at 30mm which is not the shortest possible. I struggled with it this short and slid the adjuster down the shaft to get about 45mm. 30mm is a bit of a shock and requires quite a bit of effort to move the lever, and it feels unnatural in that I kept thinking I'd missed a gear when I hadn't. If you fancy one I suggest you find someone who has one already and try it. With hindsight I'm not entirely convinced about mine.

Cheers, Diccy.
