On a classic the centre section is only a silencer, not a cat. So the downpipe.
Look at sports cats from the likes of scoobyworld if you don't want to change back every year for MOT, or if you don't mind changing an open neck decat downpipe from the likes of Hayward and Scott.
You can also replace the centre section, to remove the silencer, for more rumble

Yeah I thought the classics had 2 cats? One in the downpipe and one in the centre section? They'll still pass the MOT with just one left in tho, as mine has proved. I've got an Afterburner de-cat centre section and the difference is incredible! I'm sure they must have accidentally fitted a bigger turbo at the same time lol, cuz the difference......for just a bit of metal pipe......is unreal! I was under the impression that the downpipe cat is the best one to remove tho (for best gains) cuz it's straight after the turbo and allows it to spool quicker, etc?
(I'm gonna stop pretending that I know what I'm on about now)
