wondering if my 98 uk impreza will be safe to drive for a few weeks until remap,have already changed exhaust to full decat and bigger tmic no worries.
but have got ported headers,up-pipe and td05 turbo ready bto go on and a 255 fuel pump,will it be okay to change these and drive it until sept 5th.

 

Drive it on actuator pressure and you will be ok. I changed to a td05 and it was fine, will be worth the wait.

Saying that! sept 5th, wait until you get a bit closer to remap day before changing the turbo as actuator pressure iirc is 0.5/0.6 and your sure to get bored with the lack of boost

 

I would take it easy even without changing the turbo.

I've got numerous mods i'm desperate to put on my Bugeye STI but going to wait until a couple of days before Bob Rawle maps it, and even they i'll drive like an old fart until it's mapped!

I learn't the hard way with my last STI
