hi everyone, i need an engine rebuild on my 96 sti due to bottom end failure the car is for track use only so i need something strong need opinions on what route to take and who to use

 

think better to just replace it with a used jdm motor cheaper alternative if you dont plan on modifying it up. Just check the jdm motor before you purchase it

 

Give Paul at Zen Performance a call, he built me a forged engine a few months ago and he was extremely helpful, and quite competitive in price. Will be calling him in a few months hopefully to get some more power!!!

Api build 5+ impreza engines a week, whether standard or highly modified. All work from collection of car, engine removal/fitting to remap can be done at their premises.

I agree as above, API built my 2.5 and it still makes me laugh when I put my footdown, it hasn't missed a beat so contact David and tell him what you want
