Remove the back seat and you will find a oval panel screwed in. Remove the panel and there it is.

Undo the visible 2 you mentioned. Then the bottom of the seat comes out. Once removed you will see another 2 for the backrest. Undo them and it all comes out.

Easy enough, just be careful removing it as the fuel sender bits and bods are on the end. Do not use the filter that comes with the uprated fuel pump. keep the fitted one on your current pump.
Enjoy.
One think though, unless your re mapping, I wouldn't bother fitting one till you do, you'll have no difference in performance and a slight whiff of fuel
Cheers P

Would be M8, have a play so your happy with what your doing. Then a few days prior replace cabbie about to get fuel through, then remap. Its **** to fit, no priming or anything.

Hehe!! Didnt mean it that way.

Sti's run 280 as standard without an uprated pump so guess its not necessary. Might be wrong tho.

As said above, pretty much the back box and air filter with a re map will get you up 260+. With rest left as standard. Thats how good the scoob standard fittings are.

Bob is a quality mapper, so sure he can get that if not a little bit more with the exhaust system you have fitted. Anything else and you need to start looking at your turbo, the intercooler is good, but fitting a STi one also help in the quest for more bhp. This is where the replacing the fuel pump will also come in.
Decide what you want to start with, don't go mad. Then take it to the next stage when happy.
Good luck
Bob will be sort you out.

Why cant it? I certainly dont have an uprated fpr and didnt on the previous one either.

I thought you only needed one if you wanted to up the fuel pressure to get a bit more from the injectors?

Ive spoken to Bob Rawles and he informed me i dont need a FPR,he said you dont need one until you get near the 350-400bhp mark as the standard one would cope.

The uprated pumps are required, as you are demanding more fuel than spec, as designed with the standard one fitted.
