I get on average 150 miles from my MY06 Spec C. If I cruise at 60mph and no more on the motorway I do manage to around 240 miles to a tank then.

Damn I thought MY fuel economy was bad! 150 miles to tank is shocking. 250 is fairly regular on my MY98 WRX, I don't think I've ever seen 300. 200 plenty of times though.

About 270 normally, but have had 320 once before the light came on- on a trip to Exeter and back, all dual cabbageway and motorways..

03 Spec C (Modified)

Usually 160 to 180 miles on a tankful on A/B roads

world record - 220 on a tankful !!! - any more and you are pushing it to the nearest Shell station.

Only had it just over a week, and best so far is 200 miles.

If i cant improve it, the car wont be staying.

I enjoy the speed etc, but i aint a fool!

97wrx but with lots of mods....
280 on the motorway used to do this twice a month for a trip down to laaandaaan and back

210/215 max going to work and back/round the doors

its a killer only living 10 mins away from work, when the direct route is 2 dual carrigeways and a roundabout in the middle of them

should add that it was always 282 miles from the garage @ "lower early" near slough to the optimax garage near scotch corner, one day i fitted some 17" wheels with the newage tyre size fitted (the wrong one) and the milage changed to 270miles

so in 280 miles i lost 10 of them due to a different tyre size should put some "bigger wheels mess the speedo rumours to rest" yes it affects them, but not by very much

and some people above seam to have missed the part where the poster asked for CLASSIC info

I get about £45 to a full tank for my impreza (my00 uk2000) which only gets me about 180 or 190 at a push before I have to fill up again! Think it works out to about 18 miles per gallon and I dont consider myself to have a heavy right foot.

This consist mostly of normal city driving, not sure what I get fuel consumption wise on the motorway.

Im running a little more then standard though, up at around 285 bhp last time it was on the rollers. 150 miles to a tank sounds really bad!

02 wrx shell V power 350 odd miles on full tank could poss get 380 miles if I took it easy, on boost and off boost driving, motorway and country back roads,
local driving still over 300 easily,

230 miles normally (at 23mpg, so that 45.4 litres fill), 320 best ever, however there is a good 60 miles from 1/4 to light on, so that makes a big difference to the amount of miles from a tank, regardless of actual mpg!

You didn't think to check fuel consumption before you bought the car?

A tank does me for 200miles of town driving, or about 250 motorway miles in MY03WRX newage

Yeah i did, so dont try and make me look a fool.

And most people say they get 230 plus, some going as far as the 300's. Which i was more than happy to live with.

But as it stands at the moment, the car is barely giving me 200 miles to a tank, and thats with sensible driving. And whilst i can afford to run it, i am not an idiot, and due to previous cars, know i can have just as much fun for far less money.

But ho hum, we live and learn.

MY99 UK with PPP. Always fill up after 250 miles, around town driving. Don't do much motorway driving, but when I do its added about another 60 miles on that, so 310 ish with motorway.
