Default Help needed!!! Power Loss

Hi All
Ive been having a problem with my 1994 import wrx for the last week or so, it is totally losing power when putting my foot down . So I decided to put it on the diagnostic machine in my local garage, results were -
Code 21 - Engine coolant temperature sender, and -
Code 45 - Map Sensor

Job done!! At least I know the problem, However when I phoned Subaru to order the parts I was told the 1 was 26.50 plus vat but the other was 245.90 plus vat Something to do with it being a complete unit (air flow meter etc).

Are there any other options with this? Other than buying from Subaru direct as I have phoned the local motor factors and they do not supply these!!

Your help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks
Jenks

Cheers matey
Price looks good at the moment!! Have added to my watched list with ebay.

Was hoping there is an alternative, perhaps even a performance mod/upgrade??

You could go with a induction kit which you can get on ebay aswell, but I would suggest (unless your looking for big power) a green panel filter. You will still need the MAF though which ever option you take.
