AndyF mapped 360/380 out of my 20g but you do need all the right mods to do it.
Here it all is at full chat:
DropShots Day
Great solid turbo imho.

Graham,
Are you running a 20g on a sti3? I'm very tempted by a sti4 I have seen and would be looking to make it into the most driveable road car possible. Have some prodrive suspension + whiteline kit and very good brakes to swap onto it from my current car, but do not really know what the engine/gearbox are good for on this generation of sti's. Would you say the 20g is too laggy for road use? Have not really got a power figure in mind, I just want a very responsive car which is as quick as possible without sacrificing too much of the factory driveability, have another project ongoing for all out power.
Are you running the standard intercooler? and also what are your thoughts on 2.5" vs 3" exhaust at these sort of power levels?
thanks

Borat:
My car has a bog standard Sti V3 engine with the following add-ons:
FMIC/ 550cc injectors/ SF regulator+Walbro pump/ Cone filter/ Apexi FC/ 3'' all through decat/ parallel fuel rails and engine breather mods/ V Max + NF booster fuel.
That's it, nice and simple.
Contact Andy before buying the 20g and discuss the 18g option that might be better on the real road, a little less lag and more mid range punch tailing off at the top end. The 18g wasn't available when I did my car 3 years ago.
Never underestimate the effect of an AndyF mapping session.
Talk about cool calm and collected type of guy/approach.
No fuss, no bother.
As to exhausts:
Go for a 3'' Revolution system, just real quality of construction and mellow sound.
You need one for 350 bhp, and the Apexi can make best use of the turbo then.

MD321H is the better turbo for 400 bhp, in my experience the 20G rarely does what it says on the tin. On pump fuel is barely ahead of the 18G which, as stated above, spools a little better, the 18G is the better balanced turbo imho.
The 321H is the one to have though, no lag problems there.
cheers
