Right guys ive just had a new engine (2nd hand) fitted as mine died but having now driven it about its smoking a lot and missing and a loss in power now oil is coming out the breathers and in to the air filter pipe work. So not very happy as this says to me HG. However ive just been out to check the oil and water and the oil level is over the full mark on the dipstick. Could this be my problem ?

 

could be...................try sorting oil & water levels correctly and then monitoring from there

Yep - drain the oil down to the correct level and give it 50 miles to get rid
of the excess in the system - hopefully the engine internals are ok.
