Data logging with 'fly by wire'..?

Data logging with 'fly by wire'..?
As the Ecuexplorer web site I used to find these things out on seems to no longer exist, can someone tell me if MY06> 'FBW' throttle cars can still be data logged using openecu etc..?
I seem to remember a question being raised about his before on the Tari racing (ecuexplorer) site and it was just a case of selecting the right user parameters in the software.
Conformation would be welcome..
BTW I'm presuming JDM (inc spec c) are also fly by wire..?
