Dump Valve/Blow off valve question
ok what is the difference between the Dump Valve & Blow Off alve i have only ever had turbo cars where dump valves apply (or flump vlave as they call them in the cosworth world )
I have a Baileys Twin piston on my 93 WRX it was on there when i got the car im not sure if its in the right place as i wanted a blow off valve but by looking at pics looks like the blow off valve is either located in a different place or the dump vlave is wrong on my car
Thanks

Different ages of Impreza have different types of BOV (Blow off valves) and different places. Classics tend to have them either
1. Attached to the Intercooler on the right hand side ( 00 Plate)
2. Attached to the Intercooler on the right hand side via piping ( 96-99 Plate)
3. Attached to piping close to the airbox/turb (Early cars)
Hope thats any use.
