Currently have a '04 STI with PPP.

Apart from a remap of my standard ECU (will this still be adequate) whats the best way to start on the road to 400BHP??

I have just purchased a full 3" decat (got it cheap, just hope you don't all tell me I should get a 3 1/2"!!)

Will my standard TMIC suffice, or will I just need a larger TMIC or do I have to look at a FMIC?

No more questions I'm going dizzy again, hence the plea for help!!!!

Turbo, fuel pump, bigger injectors, uprated hoses, TMIC can suffice but reliability can be compromised on a uk car with 400 horses....

Will my PPP fuel pump (They are Walbro's I believe) need replacing?

What size turbo, would a TD05 20G be required or would an 18G do?

What size injectors would be required (what do I have now?)

Which hoses need uprating?

A TD05 20g turbo,performance manifold inc bigger uppipe all wrapped,cold air induction filter and a good remapp should get u there or abouts

 

Who does a decent unequal length manifold and uppipe at a reasonable price, I had an equal length one on my classic but it meant I had to remove my engine undertray and lost my Dubba Dubba rumble, neither of which I want to do again.

Your fuel pump will be fine already uprated with ppp,im sure your injectors(550cc)should be ok but u need to check with the experts like Jolly green monster,Zen performance and Andy Forrest all 3 are extremely helpful and will know exactly what u will need to get 400bhp

 

I got my manifold and uppipe with a good quality heat wrap included from zen performance,its well made and sounds really nice 2
