Air conditioning pipe cracked
After trying to re-charge my air-con, It turns out there is a split on the pipe!!
Does anyone know if this can be fixed or would I have to seek a replacement pipe, I was told that soldering would do the job?
Any ideas?

Problem with repairing it is that it needs to hold 10bar under testing.
Send a PM to silversonic (Gary). He did my air con and may be able to help you further with parts advice.
Just to give you an idea. To regas means the following has to be done:
1) Vac the system
2) Pressure test to 10 bar with Nitrogen
3) Deep vac the system
4) Regas.
I will never be regassing using a can fro Halfords to do this again. Its just not worth it.

2 things really.
1) You may have air in the system and hence moisture which doesn't help to system to work to full capacity.
2) Unless you have it pressure tested you may well be filling a system that still has a leak. This is illegal btw.
Its just not worth £40 for the can from Halfords. My regas from Gary above only cost £50.
