I bought my sti5 with a GGR-style K&N cone filter attached, have Stuart Knight induction scoops and have never had a single MAF-related problem 'touchwood'. However, I seem to have been lucky with MAF's on all 3 import scoobs I have owned.

What is the reason behind the question? Is it from the point of view of adding an induction kit and being concerned about supposed decreased MAF reliability? Based on my 6 years hard experience, I wouldn't be losing any sleep over possible future MAF failures . I would buy a V70 T5 is I wanted that!

get some break cleaner and you will never need to buy a new one again, carb cleaner also works
