Hadn't really opened up my (my 00 ) uk classic for a few days until today. Come off a round about in 2nd, easy into third and went throught the revs until it started boosting. I have a vf35 so listened for the nice wine then all of a suddern around 5000 rpm (i think) it was if i had taken my foot off the accelerator, just jolted? Went in to fourth and it did the same as it was entering peak boost. Its as if it got so far on the boost then it just disappeared way before i would expect the rev limiter to kick in. Any ideas before i opt for a rolling road diagnostic check?
my classic had a similar problem, the actuator pipe had come off an was hittin the fuel cut as boost was goin to high
hi, cheers for the reply - When you say hitting the fuel cut does that mean the ecu is doing that? I can check around the turbo for any pipes coming off, is there any reason as to why the actuator pipe would come off or would it just rattle off?
