Default Ap calipers

Does anyone know if the allen head bolt securing the caliper sliders is held in by loctite?
Mine have started to life due to corrosion I have the same problem on my last car with the Brembo calipers rounded the heads off trying to undo them becuase they were loctited in!

that will depend on who fitted them mate if your talking about the cap head bolts that hold the pads in then no they should not have locktite on them, but if you mean the main bolts that hold the caliper to the caliper bracket?then that would be down too personal preference of the person that fitted them! mine dont have any on them.

Hi mate sorry didnt make it clear, it's the little allen head bolts that hold the metal slider in place the one that the pad's slide on!

hello mate you should be fine with those! mine were quiet tight 1st time round but fine now, just put them back with copper slip and you will be fine next time around, theres no need to wrench those up
