hi there,

i have recently fitted another engine to my 98 impreza and there is smoke bellowing from the turbo, has anyone got any ideas what this could be? maybe came across this problem in the past.

your help would be greatly appreciated.

 

what colour smoke? blue oil black over fueling and white is water.. probably a seal gone on turbo

 

all sorted now

it was the water hose to the turbo. just a slight miss fire every now and again now and the check engine light then comes on but goes off on idle. any ideas?
