Blitz nur spec R
Good day all
Any of yous that have the above exhaust or have heard one do you know if fitting the bung makes it much quieter.
Im really leaning towards gettin one soon but dont want it loud all the time as the car is a daily driver for my wife then its all mine at the weekend.
If you have one and use it daily do yous find it annoying and ive already removed the cat.
All info is appreciated.

..
its stupidly loud for everyday use, but with the bung in its a very nice burble and not too loud, nurspecs give decent power gains compared to the rest of the competion, i made 271bhp on a 93 wrx with just a nurspec r system and magnex downpipe.

So with the bung in its not to loud at all. Would it be just as quiet with the bung and a normal system with cat or still alot louder
Also not worried about the performance as i keep the boost turned down most of the time for my wife then up it when i use it via an apexi power fc.

have a type R with downpipe and blitz.
As others say its too loud for normal use bung out. But acceptable with it in.
You lose a little bit IMO with the bung in as far as spool times go.

I have the Blitz NUR Spec RX on my STI 3 - and it's perfect for me. Not loud but with plenty of burble. It was found to be causing a slight restriction when the car was mapped, so is losing me around 5bhp compared to the likes of the louder NUR Spec R - but I can live with that. My car is running around 330bhp at 1.35bar, so if you're running less than that it may not be much of a restriction at all.
It's a good compromise - I've had loud exhausts with removable bungs before, and it's a pain ahaving to swap it over.
I got mine from Nengun Performance - Apexi, Blitz, HKS, Nismo, Greddy and other JDM Parts direct from Japan for around £370 delivered.
