Default Apexi exhaust control valve?

Has anybody used one before?

See link:
http://www.apexi-usa.com/product_exhaust_detail.asp?id=251&pageNum=1

In short I do approx 45k miles a year and done nearly 60k since September 04, I like a fairly throaty exhaust at w/ends but need to sort something out for the week, this seems ideal, my question then is would you have any concerns about using something like this?

I'm sure someone from SNet has fitted one of these to Nur Spec. I remember reading the thread. I don't think it was Apexi though!
