Default Want more power, can anyone help?

I bought an accident damaged 2001 bugeye impreza wrx about 8 mounths ago to repair and sell. i went to my local dealer for some parts, when he put in the reg he told me the spec. It has a full prodrive pack fitted but has full sti suspension set up (which he said was unusuall for a wrx) and came out the factory with a healthy 280bhp. i repaired the car and has now been on the road for 6 months. After driving it for the first time decided to keep it not realising how much fun they can be.

Any way after 6 months of 280bhp ive decided a little more wouldnt hurt. i was thinking along the lines of a bigger turbo, bigger injectors, bigger intercooler and a remap.

can anyone recomend any parts for my build and the best place to source them from.

Any help would be much appriciated, thanks alot.

TBH if it has the Prodrive pack and nothing else then it's pushing out 265ps (262bhp).

Suggest simply doing the following :

Yours should have Prodrive sportscat downpipe. Add decat up-pipe and centre pipe from Scoobyworld - £250ish. Also Walbro fuel pump - £95. Remap £585.
Remap that and you'll get a genuine 280-290bhp. The car will rev more freely and the power gain will be noticable.

If you go fo a bigger turbo, say a VF35, you'll need STi injectors, STi intercooler etc to go with it. Things'll start to get pricey, say another £800 + fitting. That would give you 330bhp+.

Consider spending £250 on some better brake pads too (Pagids or Ferodos).
