Default Manifold Insulators vs Bonnet clearance

Just a quicky

Has anybody encountered issues with bonnet clearance after fitting the 10mm Insulator Spacers on a V5 STI classic??

I still have the sound deadening stuff under the bonnet, and the clearance looks marginal with regards to the Throttle body, even as standard.

Will the TB rub on the sound deadening with the spacers fitted??

Cheers

One way to find out. Let's hope someone pipes up soon, because I was thinking of the same thing on my v4 and like you, I've still got my sound deadening. I have no intention of removing it, the damn thing's noisy enough as it is LOL

deffo okay with no sound deadening.. but you would have to try it with..
10mm should be okay.. as you can run upto 20mm with no sound deadening.
