Default Front crank seal fitting procedure

Hi

When you replace the front crank oil-seal do you need to change the oil at the same time? Only asking as deciding when to book the car in for the crank-seal change and if the job needs the oil changing i will wait till an oil chnge is due.

Hope that all made sense.

you don't have to change the oil, but seeing as the cambelt has to come off, i would stick a new belt on for god measure, especially if the seal has been leaking oil onto it!!!
