What turbo is on a version 7 sti import? Is it a twin scroll like ther version 8? What power are they running as standard (part from a cat back pipe)?

I'm fairly sure the OEM Turbo on the JDM STi 7 was a VF30.

not sure of the model but it's not a twin-scroll.

When I bought my STi 7 in 2001, it ran within 1% of the Suabru quoted figures, (on the correct fuel), can't remember the exact figures, but 276PS is what's quoted and it was within 1% of that.

As we started to modify it, the Turbo came off and it was a VF30, this is not a twin scroll Turbo.

The spec C of that age had a VF 34, the STi 7 had a VF30. It would be unusual for one that's not close to being "new" at point of import to the UK, to have had a Turbo swap.

The older it is, the more likely that it's been altered before you get it.
