I am hoping to get an sti 7 in the near future, just need a little advice, I would like to know if the jdm cars are worth buying over a uk car, I know they are a bit faster but I am worried about parts supply and the rust proofing, are they all fully rust proofed as a uk car or as they don't use salt is this where the weight saving is, I have to use the car every day whatever the weather so don't want it to turn into a pile of rust in a few years, advice welcomed, also on the uk cars at standard tune do they need 95 or 97 octane fuel. Also just another quick question are the servicing requirements any different over a WRX. I have had a good insurance quote and have been assured either uk or jdm will be no different but not really sure what to go for, Have been told should get one between £9000 and £10,000 does this seem fair, Thanks in advance for comments.
