Default Engine rebuild....

Recently changed an engine in my friends 93 wrx saloon, had low compression and burning lots of oil. I've now got his old engine and was thinking of doing something with it to put in my 94 wrx wagon. Stripped the engine and found number 4 piston had worn/melted on one side through the rings and piston!! Has caught the bore slightly, any suggestions on what i can do? ie boring out, what pistons and bearings to go for... Have full de-cat system, K&N filter, un-equal length stainless manifold and chipped ecu on mine already.
