03 STI UK MODDING ADVICE
Hi,
I have a MY03 UK STI.
It has prodrive sportscat, second cat removed, prodrive backbox, walbro fuel pump, green filter, fully uprated suspension.
I was going to have it mapped on the VF35, but have been thinking if it is possible to fit the TD05 18G without any further mods and then have it remapped and would it all hold together OK.
Will it work OK on the prodrive sports cat?
Many thanks

The mapper would have to map the 18G sympathetically to avoid breaking anything LOL
I'd stick with mapping around your VF 35 unless you want to be knocking on the "just about 400 BHP" door !!

Anything upto 400 bhp will be fine on your engine, Standard headers will be o.k for this level of tune aswell, you would be best off getting 650 cc injectors to go with the 18g to get the best out of it but think the Prodrive Exhaust will be a bit restrictive.
There is no real point just putting the 18g on it, as your boost threshold will be higher and you will only get marginally more power that the VF35.
