Default Gearbox removal

I have done a search on this, however can't find the info on this..

I realise that the clutch is a pull type and there is a release pin behind a 10mm allen bolt. I'm yust trying to find out the location of this bolt? Not really had a proper look and thought i'd ask. Is it on the right hand side of the box (looking down) at the top near the slave cylinder?

The release pin inside, is it just a case of pulling it out or does it have to be undone?

Thanks a lot everyone

Mark

Its on the rh side as you look into the engine bay from the front. On the side of the g.box casing near the starter motor. You may have to remove the starter motor to pull out the rod/dowel which holds the bearing fork.
You will need a 6mm bolt, not 100% sure on the thread size but once this is in you should be able to pull the dowel out easy.

As above. You can get at the allen head plug (just about) with the starter motor in situ, but to withdraw the pivot shaft you have to get the starter off first, so you might as well save yourself a lot of bother, and do that first.

Cheers guys. Starter motor is off, didn't want to start pulling away without knowing if I was doing any damage.
