How do i check to see if my baby has been under sealed or not? I live by the sea and i guess all that salty air will not do my clasic any good if it hasnt been under sealed.
If it hasnt where would i go to get it done and how much should this cost ?

The under surface looks like it has a hard black coating,mine was done nearly 4 years ago and is fine (i live on the coast in Dorset).
You can do it yourself if neccesary, i think Halfords sell it you just need to get the car in the air (obviously)

 

I wouldn`t bother doing it yourself nightmare, i did it on my cosworth worst job i`ve ever done, it gets every bloody where, best thing to do is contact a few bodyshops and see if they will/or know anyone that can do it for you....

 

Thanks MyBlack and Staffi, will try and see if anyone locally can do it then, Does it have to be a body shop or would a normal garage do it ?

 

Garage i bought my car (they dealt with imports) did it for me so i'm guessing any garage could do it (have alook at for a garage that sells imports and they should help)

 

No not really, but saying that alot of people DON`T like doing it cus it is bloody messy...
