Does anybody know if a 1995 WRX engine will fit into a 1998 UK Turbo 2000. Its just the engine that I will buy so I will use my own Turbo, Manifold, coilpacks, wiring loom, power steering etc etc.

I know the angines have some differences like I mentioned above but if I use alll my own bits I think it will be OK.

 

1998 should be phase 1.5 so the inlet manifold should fit the early heads.

 

so it wil fit and run ok ?

Ive never heard anyone mention anyting about pahses before. hat year did the pase 2.0 start ?

 

92-96 is phase 1
97-98 is phase 1.5
99-00 is phase 2
